According to an old proverb, “the shoemakers’ children always go without shoes”. We believe in the wisdom of our fathers but we distrust commonplaces.
We at GC&P work to help SME to achieve an International standing based on a few “pillars”: efficiency (Lean), environmental consciousness (Green), open mindedness (Cross Cultural), social responsibility (CSR).
The Lean approach allows to create an excellent organization capable to understand its customers’ needs and transform them into products and services that are unique and distinctive and are made eliminating wastes, reducing times and empowering people.
The Green model, far from meaning a sterile criticism of technological progress, is an exciting challenge to develop products capable to preserve natural resources for the future generations.
The Cross Cultural approach transforms man’s irrepressible inclination to travel and see the world into a great business opportunity. Knowing different cultures and how to harmonize them can be of great value both for those entrepreneurs who operate in Italy employing workers of different nationalities and for those who choose to settle in extra European countries.
The Corporate Social Responsibility model ensures and monitors a company’s active compliance with the spirit of the law, ethical standards, and international norms and encourages a positive impact through its activities on the environment, consumers, employees, communities, stakeholders and all other members of the public sphere. A company is no longer seen as a machine to make as much short term profit as possible, but as an agent for the creation of wealth for the society as a whole.
All these features are not an end in themselves but are necessary factors for the survival and the development of a company in the global market. An SME which reaches a standing like this can deal in the International market with customers, competitors, potential partners, who otherwise would be inaccessible just because they consider these elements discriminating factors.

We strongly believe that GC&P, in order to be credible, must not only preach these models to its clients, but must apply them to itself.
And that is exactly what we are doing.
First of all we have developed an organizational model based on the lean principles and certified according to ISO 9000.
We are also paying attention to environmental problems according to ISO 14000 and we contribute to reduce the emissions of CO2 and other pollutants sensitizing our clients and our own people on the issue of sustainability. It is our goal to become a firm with zero environmental impact.
In the next few months we will adopt a Corporate Responsibility Model according to the principles of ISO 26000.
Since our foundation, in November 2008, we have given special attention to International and multi-cultural cooperation. Today our network includes Partners in many European countries , in Turkey and in some important non European areas such as sub Saharan Africa, China, India. Our goal is to be really “glocal” , open to the whole world but with strong roots in North East Italy, the land where our experience started and where we plan to operate for many more years.
Only if we will live according to the principles we teach we will really be able to help our clients to be competitive and successful and we will remain competitive and successful ourselves.
Our shoes must be impeccable if we want to be credible shoemakers.
