Master Class on Lean Organization for Food and Beverage Companies
22 June - 06 July 2012 - in Lean Transformation
The main theme of this course is quite simple and clear: how to reduce costs, increase profitability and at the same time improve customer service. We will deal with the methods and techniques of lean organization as well as with more innovative subjects like that of planning in a lean environment and work team management in a lean transformation project. In the last half a day of the master class participants will experience a real lean journey visiting a lean factory in the area of Asolo.
“FloWare” seminar deals with a theme that is controversial among lean experts: what are the features of the ideal softwares for a lean company? How should they change to support the company in the process of continuous improvement?
During the seminar we will give examples of software implementations and in particular we will describe a case of implementation of an electronic kanban.
Participation in the seminar is free of charge.
The master class deals with very important themes which affect competitiveness: how to stimulate creativity, how to manage a new product development project, how to measure the performances of a Technical Design Department. This new edition will be even more interactive and rich in case studies than the first one.

Our Lean and Green Master Class, the one and only in Italy, has one major objective: to show that lean methods and techniques can be used also to eliminate environmental wastes.
More attention to the environment does not mean more costs, but more savings and often an opportunity of growth both for B to B companies and for B to C ones, provided they choose the right marketing and communication strategy. This will be the main theme of our Master Class which will deal with these topics, some of them really innovative: Environmental certifications, eco design, green marketing, zero emission factory, green logistics, sustainable offices, lean and green accounting.
During the Master Class we will propose an indicator, both simple and original, to measure a company’s environmental impact. We at GC&P have been the first to use it and we have called it O.S.R. (Overall Sustainability Ratio).
The purpose of the Lean Accounting Master Class is to provide a detailed description of the methods of Lean Accounting. Key topics covered during the master class are: value stream costing, the box score as a useful tool to measure lean improvements, rolling budget in a lean environment, transactions elimination. Teachers in this edition of the Master Class will be Ross Maynard and Alberto Canepari.
